SWMMNG is looking to expand its team with an intern specializing in project management and A&R research.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized individual with a mind for problem solving and an ear for potential. More details below.

Job Description

• Scout and research new artist, songwriter, and producer talent for SWM Songs
• Maintain and develop relationships directly with artists
• Review demo submissions and cover live shows
• Coordinate detailed bi-weekly A&R research reports and other scouting projects
• Manage and schedule meetings, showcases, and calendars
• Work with the SWMMNG management team to understand scope and requirements; review materials, timelines, guidelines, activities, and documentation
• Monitor timelines and progress of projects to ensure efficient, on-time delivery of work while being able to assess and address any issues or concerns that may impact the success of the project
• Regularly and effectively communicate to cross-functional team members about project status
• Gather development/design requirements and manage communications and assets to ensure projects deliver on time and on budget
• Delegate and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to SWMMNG team

Requirements

• Proficiency in Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong editing, grammar, and proofreading skills
• Have a keen sense of urgency and strong follow-up skills
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with ability to initiate and drive improvements
• A laptop
• A working smartphone
